Setting the Mood

Carla reached out to us hoping to turn her outdated bathroom into a modern, spa-like escape. She wanted a space that felt calming but also indulgent—an everyday sanctuary. We discussed layout options, material preferences, and how the bathroom was used day-to-day. It was essential to blend function with luxury, ensuring a comfortable experience while maintaining a high level of design. From the start, we knew lighting and texture would be key to achieving this balance.

Material Palette & Details

We selected a palette of creamy limestone, brushed nickel fixtures, and natural oak accents. The stone provided warmth and character, while the fixtures kept things clean and timeless. A floating vanity offered storage without bulk, and a frameless glass shower made the room feel more expansive. Lighting was layered, including ambient ceiling lights, soft sconces, and subtle under-vanity illumination. These details worked together to create a cohesive space that felt both practical and elegant.

A Spa for Everyday

The finished bathroom feels like a personal spa retreat. It’s quiet, refined, and tailored to Carla’s daily routine. Built-in shelving keeps everything organized, while thoughtful touches—like a heated towel rail and dimmable lights—add comfort and luxury. Every surface feels intentional and well-crafted. The project transformed a purely functional room into one of the most enjoyable spaces in the home.
